Tiled Qt 0.3.1 released

A few issues with the 0.3.0 release got reported, and this release is mostly about fixing those up. The list of changes:
  • Enabled undo command compression for stamp brush and eraser
  • Fixed reading of maps with non-binary-encoded layer data
  • Fixed a compile issue on Mac OS X related to QXmlStreamWriter
  • Fixed a crash when loading a map while holding Ctrl
  • Confirm overwrite on the right moment for 'Save as Image' dialog
For the next release I'm working on support for isometric maps. Hopefully there will even be time to include support for hexagonal maps as well. Stay tuned!

  2. Why do you need the 0.3.1 version?

You can still find it on the Files page at SourceForge and opening the 0.3.1 folder: http://sourceforge.net/projects/tiled/files/

  3. Not sure of Elliot's reasons, but I'm here downloading 0.3.1 for mac because Nat, from http://www.iphonegamekit.com/, says the later versions have a bug that shifts objects between that save n load.

I read in the comments of ver 0.5.0 that yo have addressed this issue, but it needs to be compiled from git, so I'm sticking with this version and waiting until the next release. Nat promises to update his content regularly, so, if this in error, I'd give him a shout out and I'm sure he'll disseminate the info to us newbs.

Thanks for tool, btw, it's crazy useful. I'll definitely be donating at some point in the near future.

Ah, thanks for informing me about that! I guess that raises the priority of doing a 0.5.1 bugfix release. I'll try to get one out this week.

Nice to hear Tiled is so useful for you!
